For the DMC solo album guest slots from Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit’s DJ Lethal, Sarah McLachlan, Run, Doug E. Fresh, Napoleon (Outlawz) and Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu (Korn) are announced.
The album, still entitled “Checks, Thugs And Rock ‘N’ Roll” is now scheduled for release in September 2005.

As reported in todays EUR, DMC is doing finishing touches on his upcoming solo album “Checks, Thugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll”. By end of the year DMC wants to get the single “I’m Missing My Friend”, a tribute to fallen Jam Master Jay, to radio. Book “Tougher Than Leather”
In 1987 the authorized Run-DMC biography Tougher Than Leather was published. The book was written by Bill Adler. In 2002 the book was reissued with a foreword to the 2002 edition by Bill Adler.
